You tell Verdict which credit cards you already carry and where you are about to spend. It works out which of those cards earns you the most on that purchase and shows you the clause from the card's own terms that the answer came from. The comparison pages do the same thing in public, for cards you may not own yet.
Verdict is information, not advice. It does not know your income, your balance, your interest charges, or your goals, and it is not a financial adviser, a broker, or a lender. Rewards are one small part of what a credit card costs you. If you carry a balance, the interest almost always dwarfs anything you earn. Decide for yourself, and talk to a qualified adviser if the decision matters.
Every rate on Verdict is copied from the issuer's own published terms and stamped with the date a person last checked it. Issuers change rates, caps, categories, and fees whenever they choose, and they do not tell us when they do. The issuer's current terms always govern your card and always win over anything shown here. Verify with your issuer before you rely on a number, and before you apply for anything.
Verdict is provided as is. We try hard to keep it accurate and we fix mistakes as soon as they are reported, but we cannot promise it is complete, current, uninterrupted, or free of errors. You use it at your own risk. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that follows from using Verdict or from relying on something it showed you, including a missed reward, a fee, an interest charge, or a card application.
Use Verdict for your own card decisions and share the pages freely. Do not bulk-scrape the catalogue, resell it, or try to overload or break into the service. We can rate-limit or block traffic that does.

If these terms change, the new version and its effective date appear on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute.
